Aiming to educate and raise the awareness of the population, particularly those in school age, we created Horta da Formiga - Home Composting Centre.
This centre is dedicated to demonstrate how to compost, its advantages and applications.
The centre has a biological vegetable garden and orchard with carefully selected species, where the resulting compost is used.
